Plays the music on your own server in Andamp. The songs sit next to the ones on your phone, in the Media Library and in your playlists, and you get the same equalizer, effects and visualizers.
What you need
- A server that supports Subsonic or OpenSubsonic, such as Navidrome, Airsonic or Gonic.
- The server’s address, your username and your password.
- Andamp 0.5.0 or newer, on Android 8.0 or newer.

- Download the file on your phone.
- Open it. If Android asks, allow your browser to install apps.
- Tap Install.
- Open the Subsonic source, enter the server address, your user name and your password, and tap Save.
- Open Andamp and find the music in the Media Library.
Rather not have an extra icon in your app list? Turn off Show in app list in the source’s settings. You can still reach those settings from Andamp › Preferences › Music sources.
Is this the real one?
All Andamp music sources carry the same signature. To check yours, go to Andamp
› Preferences › Music sources › Subsonic. The signature there should
start with 5D:B4:B3:7B.
